Sponsor Tree Planting Day
On the first Saturday of April Hantz Woodlands holds a large tree planting event. More than 1,000 volunteers join in to expand beauty and investment within Hantz Woodlands. There is an opportunity for sponsoring tree planting days by purchasing a block of 500 trees. Sponsors receive naming rights for the area in which their trees are planted. Hantz Woodlands maintains the site, going forward, so that the area can be presented as a statement that sponsors care about, and are involved in the renovation of Detroit neighborhoods.
